1. About us and this website
Ctrl_Alt_Work is a coworking space preparing to open in Westlands, Nairobi. This website is a pre-launch site: the space is not yet open, and the information here — including amenities, plans, and prices — is indicative and may change before launch. Nothing on this website is a binding offer of membership.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this website and join our waitlist.
3. The waitlist
Joining the waitlist lets us keep you informed about our launch and founding-member rates. It does not guarantee a membership, a particular price, or availability, and it creates no obligation on either side to enter into a contract. You may ask to be removed from the waitlist at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us.
4. Founding-member rates
Any “founding” rates shown are promotional and indicative. Final pricing, plan terms, and availability will be confirmed in a separate membership agreement at or before launch and may differ from what is shown here.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the website for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
- submit false information or another person’s details without authority;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to, disrupt, or interfere with the website or its security;
- copy, scrape, or misuse our content or branding without permission.
Misuse of computer systems may constitute an offence under applicable Kenyan law.
6. Intellectual property
The Ctrl_Alt_Work name, logo, content, and design are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
7. Third-party links and content
This website may link to or embed third-party content (for example, a map). We are not responsible for third-party websites or services, and their terms and privacy practices apply to your use of them.
8. Disclaimers
The website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the accuracy, completeness, or availability of the website, and pre-launch information may change without notice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012.
10. Privacy
Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted here with the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the website after changes means you accept them.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any dispute relating to them or to this website is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights you have under Kenyan law.
